This staged adaptation of Margaret Wise Brown's books will bring a new sense of appreciation to stories that have delighted several generations. Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia's unique adaptations of children's literature have served to introduce more than four million youngsters on four continents to the magic of live theatre. Following in the steps of its acclaimed interpretations of the works of Eric Carle, Leo Lionni, Berkeley Breathed and Sam MacBratney, the 50-minute performance will incorporate innovative puppetry, striking scenic effects, and evocative original music to provide very young audiences with an effortless introduction to the performing arts and the excitement of reading.
